Metula is a settlement and local council, located in the northernmost point of the country.

Metula was founded in 1896 on land acquired with the funds of Edmond James de Rothschild.

The village is located at an altitude of 525 meters above sea level.

The population of Metula is about one and a half thousand inhabitants.
